Listening to the rain has never been the same since I've learnt the Morse code...
(Unrealistic, I know. Any reasonable cat would've at least knocked the stuff down.)

Scrap paper (roughly A5), Ikea pencil (erased) and ballpoint pen; edited in PhotoFiltre 7 using grayscale (green channel), layers (overlay, difference), brushes (round, 30 pixels, various shades of gray), eraser and smudge (same size), indexed color compression (8 colors, no diffusion). Morse code written entirely from memory.
