Mag's getting risqué?! WUT?!? Enjoy it for now, it doesn't happen that often. XDWhen I read ~generalzoi ’s first part to the new Ruffnut/Astrid series she’s planning, this wonderful sentence was imprinted in my mind and I had to draw it to get it out of my head:
Hiccup was her boyfriend, and Ruffnut was her best friend, and if the wrong one made her scream in the middle of the night, it was a minor aberration.

I wasn’t able to spend a lot of time on this one. I had to do it at night while my siblings were asleep and without losing too much sleep myself so I wouldn’t be groggy during daytime activities. So, sorry for the inaccuracies.

I love this. I just watched How to Train Your Dragon and I simply love Ruffnut. Her and Astrid make a fantastic couple. And wow Astrid is soooo uke in this pic. I LOVE it. XDD

Well thank you. I try to draw in a style that I enjoy, and it's nice to hear that it's different from others.
What is that? Did you make that for something, just sharing for me or is it for like a project about confessing secrets? It just seemed a bit official in something, is all. I'm intrigued. :3

lol, no, I didn't make that. There's a livejournal community called Fandom Secrets where people basically put captions on screenshots of really whatever you want. Could be an actor, a scene from an anime, anything at all, and you write down a confession.
A lot of the confessions are straight people admitting that they're gay for someone/something. It's hilarious! Anyway, a friend of mine recognized that picture when she was browsing through the community and it did look familiar, so I came to dA to see if it was indeed yours. And it was! I lol'd pretty hard.

I love your art so much! What I think I love most about this piece is that there's a lot of emotion in it (to me at least, coz I've read the fic). The way Astrid's grabbing onto Ruffnut and just her face in general...

I read somewhere that drawing fast is a good way to improve your style. I always pause while drawing to look up stuff on teh nets XP

Haha, true, that can help improve your style, but for me it gets frustrating. And sometimes not taking the time makes me miss some mistakes here and there. I think one time I almost posted a drawing where I'd completely missed coloring in a section of it, stuff like that.
