Oh my god what a beautiful design! Red river hogs are so magestic, it's so naturally combining with the koi fish. Gorgeous painting!

Nice spin on old mythology; Boars don't get enough credit! Beautiful colors by the way, I love vibrant reds!

Wow!! This is not what I expected to see at all! XD First off, I want to commend you for stepping out of the boundaries and making something truely wierd. Most animal/fur fanciers seem obsessed with the following: wolves, foxes, cats, horses. Those seem to be the only animals to exist to many in the fur community. I have always loved red river hogs, and feel they are extremely beautiful animals who don't get nearly enough love. And then the fish half makes it that much more awesome. It's like... the African alternative to Capricorn X3
As for the image itself, you managed to capture their unique features marvelously. The tufts and bits of white hair are their most fancy feature, and I like the attention you gave, especially to the ruff around the jaw.
If I were to pick on anything, it would be the shadow right behind the shoulders. It seems very deep and dark, and suggest something of a dent where there oughtn't be one. And I might like to see a little more glitter or shine on the fish half, to distinguish the scaley, wet, smooth quality in contrast with the fur. I feel like You loved the hog half a little more than the fish half, though. Perhaps because you have had far more time with drawing hair and mammals than fish. Some of the fins seem a little sloppy in comparison to the very precise hairs on the hog part.
But really, this is a very fun, very attractive image. I am especially drawin to the small, hairline, light details on the snout (which looks very modeled and very nice) as well as on the foreleg and the ruff of hair right before the fish part. I think it's delightful, and a welcome change from ten million wolves and cats, etc. XD

If I'd just had a description, I wouldn't have thought this could look so good, and so much as though it were traditional.

That was certainly the last kind of animal I expected to see on the fish's front end, heh. Creative!
Also cute. Boars have such adorable faces.
