Description
After playing both Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, I had to make a little tribute to these stunning games.Who else played them, and what did you think of them? ^^

I haven't played Will of the Wisps yet, but I enjoyed the crud out of Ori and the Blind Forest. I'll definitely be playing Will of the Wisps when I can, though. Both games look absolutely stunning! And the music is phenomenal.

I absolutely loved Blind Forest. Sadly, I'll have to wait to play the sequel. I'm hoping that there will be a Switch release someday.

Very very nice games overall. Not the best Metroidvanias ever (first game aged poorly, second game is a bit of a letdown) but they're absolutely very good and I certainly dig the setting.
... the second game's second half plot-wise, however? Eeeeeesh. I'm of the opinion that after beating the final boss, you're better off skipping the ending and just making up your own ending.
But let's just say that they're definitely worth experiencing, at the very least ; I wouldn't be drawing a ginormous sketch comic taking place in that setting if I didn't like it.
As for that drawing of yours... quite good, yes. Nice details. The details are a bit wonky on the characters though ; Ku's proportions look off and Ori's, even more so. But the environment is definitely quite pretty and the shadow and light effects are neat. Why you didn't give Ori a shadow, I do not know why though.

I didn't give Ori a shadow because ori gives off light. The same reason why a lamp doesn't cast a shadow when it's on.
I'm curious as to how you think the proportions are off. I made some conscious decisions to change some, and I wonder if it's the same as what you saw or not.

Thank you! The soundtrack is (or are, technically. Glad they got Gareth Coker for both of them) wonderful, I've listened to it several times even outside playing the games. I really love the music of Baur's Reach.

Just finished the will of wisps yesterday! What a game! Even though it wasn't very original, I really enjoyed it. This piece really shows the magic of the game, well done! Wonderful colours as well)

I've listened to the sountrack so many times now... it's so magical. I mean to play the game sometime <3 I feel like I've learned so much of the story through the music and I'd love to see how it holds up in a playthru.

The game feels very flowy when you play it. I'm normally not really into platformers, but Ori is so beautiful and feels so good that I loved it like no tomorrow.

I would obviously recommend them.
They're about 20 hours each if I remember correctly, should that help in placing them in the right place on your (mental) priority list.

Ehhh, I think that'd be harder to do with Ori as you 'unlock' new areas by following the story, and exploring the new areas is kind of what the game is about (it's the kind of game people like to speedrun, though that isn't me). Still, I'm sure there are people who might enjoy just hanging around in some area for no particular reason and just enjoy how pretty it all is. xD
