Description
My red fox fursona stands before a spiral set of stairs suspended in the air. The steps lead up and away toward a starry sky in a twisting helix vaguely reminiscent of RNA and DNA. Hope is the thought that one may one day ascend toward higher and greater things. The landscape features forested hills and larger mountains in the distance.

This digital painting took about 8 hours to create in Autodesk Maya (stairs) and Photoshop CS4 (the remainder). I used a marble texture from textures.com for the stairs. I'd like to give a special thanks to everyone who stopped by for the livestream while I was painting this.
