Ahh yes, I remember the old days when you were officially cool by expressing your hate for Twilight. Thank god that bullshit is all over now.

Can someone explain to me why people are commenting on a 2008 stamp?

Twilight is nostalgic for many and it's fun to come back to and either reminisce about it or reminisce about making fun of it
For me it's both since I had both Twilight and anti-Twilight phases somehow

Welp, be happy that this series is dead now! And the one thing people do now is make jokes about it, which I find quite funny. xDΒ

Does anyone even read Twilight anymore? Seems like they've mostly migrated to Fifty Shades of Grey.

axris In reply to DaBair [2017-09-08 06:21:16 +0000 UTC]
which isn't really a migration, since 50SoG started out as a Twilight fanfiction called Master of the Universe

tis a fascinating relic of the past for those old enough to remember it
i.e not someone who was fucking 4 when it was popular

"Please, if you dislike this stamp, keep that opinion to yourself. Thanks."
Well the same goes for talking about pro movie Twilight stuff then.

Actually the books weren't bad. They weren't my favourite, don't get me wrong, but they weren't the worst thing I have ever read.Β
The films, ugh... (Although that is less to do with the writing and everything to do with the fact it has my least favourite actors in it).Β
I mean, in terms of describing the emotions of a vulnerable young girl I'd say it was pretty much spot on. She is a terrible role model, but then I guess she wasn't really meant to be a role model. In a scene I can also relate to Edward in a few ways myself. However, I did not, unlike other people, find him attractive. In fact, I seriously questioned his health. To me, going out with him would be taking advantage of someone who was clearly rather vulnerable psychologically, despite his physical ability. I mean, it doesn't seem like a healthy relationship to me. Unrealistic? (Outside of the sparkly vampire thing) I think not. But definitely not healthy either.

The werewolves from Van Helsing and the Werewolf of Fever Swamp from the Goosebumps movieΒ is way better!

I am happy to say I have neither read or watched, though I've heard that some say that it's a decent comedy flick moreso than a romantic drama thing.
