Canon Digital Rebel XSi18-55mm kit lens
A couple weeks ago, we had a very rainy stretch of weather, so my sunset shoots were replaced with puddle shoots. Rode up to an elementary school and got on the ground next to a puddle to get this shot. Clothes got a bit dirty, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do to get the shot

Stark but good composition. Β Great use of Shape and texture. Β Good technical details, too. Β IMO, cropping the LEFT side structure, the slide, OUT of the final print makes it stronger yet. Β Β I'm insanely picky, for sure. Β

Beautiful color gradients in this photo. That snaky climbing frame looks super, super dangerous. falling from either summit into the inverted arch could do some incredible injury.

Β Reminds me of the playground where I went to grade school. Every spring, the field at the back of the playground would flood with melted snow, turning into a foot-deep swamp around the playground equipment back there. Perhaps it was fitting that half of it was on stilts.

I bet this made you smile while laying on the ground taking the shot. The colors are amazing and who doesn't love a playground they bring back memories for everyone.βΊ

It's a very good photo. Everyday's objects made look different by the way they're photographed.And what normally would be a rather unpleasant view- a big puddle in the schoolyard- turns out into an aesthetic and even colorful picture.
