Description
Vicki Vale is an acclaimed photojournalist who agreed work for the Gotham Globe, with Alexander Knox about his giant bat story. While she attempted to uncover the secret of the mysterious Batman and inadvertently became the object of obsession for the Joker.

Sean Young was originally cast as Vicki Vale in Batman 89, but was injured while rehearse for a scene, and Kim Basinger became the last-minute replacement. She was in Sam Hamm's unproduced Batman 2 script where she's the love interest again, and at the end, Bruce proposes an engagement with her, but the script was rejected when Tim Burton wanted full creative control over the sequel.
