I actually think your colors improve the picture dramatically. I don't know if it's intentional, but the way you've colored Sally really brings out her exhaustion and a sense of wear and tear to her clothes, which to me gives the pic an emotional edge the linework version lacks. left it to viewers' imagination as to where she was going but suggested a simple stroll; here, I feel like this is Sal's first time making the trek to Knothole, with the butterfly reminding her of the peaceful life she's forcibly leaving behind. But that may just be me overthinking things.

That's sort of where my thoughts were as I colored it. I saw a lot of potential for something sort of gritty and I'm happy with the way it turned out.
That's what writer do, right? Over think things. I know I'm guilty of it often.
