Description Woah, been a long time since I've worked on this. Varsity Softball tryouts took up all of my time for the last few weeks and I just haven't wanted to pick up a pencil because I've been so exhausted.

Anyway, I probably won't upload this again until the Rexes are complete, and then I'll start on the background.

I just started another piece of Davy Jones and Jack Sparrow too..... why did I do that? Cause I like to kill myself with art overload..

Time so far on this: I kinda lost count, I'm way past 25 hours, though.

...are the V-rexes truly bigger than the T-rexes as they claim in the documentary?
Also, I was dissapointed on the V-rexes on just one thing: the roar. They sounded like overgrown pigs, it was more like a continuous oink than a legitimate roar?

This is a gorgeous bit of linework. I can't wait to see what the finished piece looks like. The entire piece flows quite well with the curved bodies of the critters. They do look very fossil-like, very prehistoric with their almost rock-like textures and facial structure. Beautiful stuff; I love those feet and toe claws.

This is looking absolutely incredible. I love all of the pebbly texture in their skin. The deep shadowed areas are also really cool - the way you designed the wrinkles, and the shading around the wrinkles, actually works as a compositional element that brings our eyes into the center of the action - that's a really cool trick.

I'm looking forward to the next progress report on this one!
