This madonna is a great sculpture. You took a good shot too
We have a Conforting Madonna in our local church too. But it's different. The marmor Madonna from your photo looks much more gracious.

What a beautiful statue. So dramatic! My only suggestion would be to have taken it from a slightly higher angle. But other than that the lighting and everything is perfect! Bravo!

Marble sculptures are always just so stunning to look at. The amount of work that must've gone into a piece like this boggles the mind. The proportions of the sculpture are perfect.
The colouring of the photo works really well, too.
