Description A birthday gift inspired by the whimsicality of Icelandic band Mum’s “Moon Pulls”, this visual narrative juxtaposes simple existence with fantasy. "Moon Pulls" more or less illustrates a journey. The boatman and the sea are a metaphor for man's attempt to make sense of his position in a microcosm of the great universal macrocosm.

Wow, very nicely done, Danielle. You've rendered everything top-notch, but I especially love the water. It makes me wonder what Poseidon will look like after you've had your way with him

Thank you Alex . Poseidon is currently wreaking havoc on Odysseus' boat, parting the ocean current with the thrust of his regal, three-pronged trident. I've endowed you with a broad crown of coral, a serpentine fish tail, a starfish across the breast and torso, an ideal anatomy, unruly tresses of hair and a mean beard. Two beautiful mermaids are also in the process of being rendered...worshipping their aquatic master. It should look interesting once finished!
