I wanted to illustrate a bit more of what the Transmission twins would have looked like when they were kids. So, lets go back to the early 1990s and take a look at this nostalgic family snap of Russ and Reg helping their dad wash his car!The red Austin Metro is a homage to my maternal grandparents' last car. My dad said that their particular was not pleasant to drive (the gearing and reliability mainly), but so what? I was still fascinated by it, being the boyish boy that loved EVERYTHING to do with cars!

Yep, this reminds me of being a child. I can remember dear ol' dad washing his red hunk of junk Plymouth Voyager when I was small
I was always fascinated more by racecars than cars in general. I've been a NASCAR fan for practically as long as I can remember; I ended up getting into IndyCars years later. Still love checking out the old races on Youtube in my spare time

I can just picture the three of them watching a Stoke City match and I'll bet their Dad has to be carefull what he yells out at the screen, otherwise Russ and Reg will be like 'Dad, what's a *****

lets just say, I've been into cars longer than i can remember, and it all started with the 1997 Viper GTS...
god when i was 8 i had learned how a car engine worked, most of the electricals and brakes and so on because of my fascination witht hem

I was intrigued by ANY car. I even found fascination in my grandma's friend's old VW Polo! I guess a car was a car at the time

my granddad died last year... *sigh* he had more cars than i could count though. The punto was the one he had when i was born, he then had 3 nissan marches, a cube, two minis, four daihatsus and an old vauxhall/opel
