John assembled the Denbourne Do-Gooders to protect the city. But who patrols the city at night, hmm? The Graveyard Shift!

The Graveyard Shift is a group of Nocturnal Superheroes, who also happen to be Monsters. They fight criminals at night as well as Demons and Monsters. Inspired by such groups as Justice League Dark and the characters in Watchmen.

From left to right:

1. Tic-Tac-Toe (Real name unknown): A Mummy Sleuth, who hides his face with a Tic-Tac-Toe mask. Mainly inspired by Rorschach, The Shadow and Darkman.

2. Ratcatcher (Real name: Dwayne Parker): A Dhampir, Tic-Tac-Toe's partner and best friend. Ratcatcher was bitten by a Vampire named Hieronymus, but Tic-Tac-Toe and Zareena stopped him from turning completely into a Vampire. Main inspiration: Batman, Nite Owl II (his friendship with Tic-Tac-Toe), and Blade (because he's a Dhampir).

3. Midnightingale (Real name: Keri Flanagan): A successful pop star, who also happens to be a Banshee. Midnightingale has a sonic scream, is able to fly and can summon force-fields. She is also Ratcatcher's girlfriend. She is Inspired by such characters as Black Canary, Zatanna, Jem, Silver Banshee and Shanna the Banshee from Real Ghostbusters.

4. Mighty Electron: Once an ordinary man named James Danson, Mighty Electron is the result of an inhumane experiment conducted by Dr. Caligula. Ever since his transformation, James gained super-strength, electric powers, flight and the ability to multiply himself, but he cannot change back to his human form. That is why he wants to find Dr. Caligula and force him to fix him. Mighty Electron is the most powerful member of the Graveyard Shift, right after Zareena. He is a mixture of the Frankenstein Monster, Superman and a little bit of Dr. Manhattan (but unlike Jon, James actually has compassion).

5. Imp (Real name: Jackson Foley): The jokester of the group. Imp can climb walls, can stretch his limbs/alter his physique because of his elastic powers and turn invisible, and uses a maniacal cackle to scare criminals. He also likes to lighten the mood with jokes, even when it's a bad time. He is inspired by the Creeper, Deadpool, Beast Boy, Nightcrawler and Plastic Man.

6. Banquo: A brash, trigger-happy Werewolf, the gunslinger of the team, Imp's best friend. Banquo was once a War Veteran named Joe Best, who, like Mighty Electron, also fell victim to Dr. Caligula: he infected him with a Werewolf Virus. Eventually, Joe learned to control his Werewolf Genes and became a Nocturnal crimefighter under the name: Banquo. He is inspired by such comic characters as Cyborg (his friendship with Imp), The Punisher and the Comedian, but unlike the latter, Banquo is more heroic.

7. Zareena: A Witch, good friends with High Priestess Arabella. She is the one who brought the Graveyard Shift together, knowing how they are all Monsters/Creatures of the Night. Her greatest enemy is Hieronymus. She also has bones to pick with Dr. Caligula (For what he did to Mighty Electron, Banquo and many other innocent people). She is inspired by the Sorceress from He-Man, Scarlet Witch, Madame Web, and a little bit of Raven.
