Description
Drink Their Troubles Away, The Weary And The Ruined Alike.The time i spent working in this one is inconceivable, but it's finally out!
Made in Blender, Cycles, 1000 samples.
Finishing touches in Photoshop.

Whoa the sharpness contrasting with the blurry background! It's a pretty cool effect I think. The smoke from the cigarette doesn't look quite right (bit blocky and black, though I wouldn't have a clue how to do wispy grey smoke having not played with that kind of stuff yet) and the napskin looks a bit odd (if it's actually a napkin and not a very soft coaster), it looks like it's floating slightly above the table and made of some rather heavy material. Love the wood texture and the glass and liquid inside looks great. Also like how dirty the napskin and cigarette are compared to everything else/ I'm trying to imagine the bounces through the glass and the liquid, did it take long to render?

Indeed the smoke seems quite dense, because a fine bright smoke wouldn't be visible in such a bright background. I got the napkin to highlight the Ambient Occlusion of the scene, since i used a dense hair dynamic it looks very heavy (Ironically). It took about 13 hours since the visual noise produced by the material i used for the drink is barbaric.
