Yes, he does have the style of a pimp, doesn't he? Emphasis on style. Not job description. Ugh.

Yeah, in your picture Darkwing's costume looks different. the button's aren't yellow and the collar looks more like a business-type suit then a turtle neck.

Heh, I'm the same way going back and forth about whether or not to bring Jacob into the fray on FS.
I love your troll faces and other emoticons you find. Cracks me up. I love the way in which you draw DW, too. Your style is great. XD

Def. I would like to see him interact - I haven't read much about him, though, not just yet anyhoo - talking about Jacob, have you received my note?
And I am bringing in Pin... I just need to work up the courage to break her through...

It's goodbye to the hat and the cape if he wants to be able to that, that's for sure... Aaaah, and Pin - long live maturity... It really doesn't have an age, does it?

LOL! Somehow, I could see Pin saying exactly that - and Darkwing is very much in character, too, LOL!

Your thought process. I think I have an idea what your idea is. It involves Pin's bilingual sarcasm, DW's short temper and that wide-brimmed fedora, right?

I'm just another annoying beakless mutant to him (at least that's how I've come across thus far since I'm not sure if I want to introduce my fursona as her own character or just keep playing the average annoying fangirl). He probably forgets about me every time he's done answering one of my questions.
Rather informal, this role play...

Now, if it were me, I would've slapped her. Nothing about DW's outfit says "sex trafficker," and considering that he's the adoptive father of a little girl, I'm sure he'd resent any implication that he has any part in that grotesque form of slave trading. That is, if he understood the implications, which most people don't. Pin included.
But as it stands, he handled it well with that snappy comeback. Go, DW! She totally deserved that.
Sorry for the subtle rant, but I am an abolitionist, after all.

I think everybody knows what a 'real' pimp is...
Which is not what was implicated here... Besides, DW slapping her would mean him slapping a woman, which is not much better...

I know, I know. I just get a little sensitive about people treating a slave issue so flippantly. I know Pin didn't know any better.
Besides, slapping her would probably only incite her wrath, not show her the error in her vocabulary. Hence the reason we're instructed to "turn the other cheek."
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger.

I find it a bit hypocritical that you are being bothered by one pimp-joke (re: joke) but all the murdering and chopping people up - that's ok?
Thing is, of course I don't approve of 'slavery' - I don't believe most people in here does - that is not was is being implicated when we joke about 'pimps' - so being supersensitive about some lame joke (and it is a lame joke, I know) seems a bit silly...
And turning the other cheek has (and this is my belief so sorry if it offence you) never help out in any situation either - it is just as useless as straying to violence...

Touche.
Although I still think it's important that people at least be aware of the real meaning and implication behind the word. I know I can't stop the jokes, but I can raise awareness of the very real issue of human trafficking. People are aware of murder and abuse, but not everyone realizes that there is still an active slave trade, and it's not restricted to India or the third world; it happens still even in America, the "land of the free." IMO, we need more abolitionists in this world, and I do what I can to recruit them.
But next time, I'll pick a better spot to stand on my soap box.
Turning the other cheek isn't rolling over and surrendering. It's letting go of your right to retaliate while still standing up for yourself and what you believe in. It's basically saying, "Do what you want to me, but you cannot stop this cause I'm so passionate about, no matter how hard you may try." Drake's response to the bullies he dealt with in high school qualifies as turning the other cheek.
