Description
It was a long moment before his fingers touched hers, and she nearly started at the contact. He paused, grasp still tentative, before more fully taking her hand in his. She watched him, trying not to focus on the point of contact between them as she waited for him to rise to join those who were dancing. But he was looking at their hands, his expression pensive and unreadable."Lord Aegnor?" she asked quietly.
"If you believe me to be intimidating," he began, his gaze still lowered so that it was impossible to guess at his emotions, "I wonder if you are at all aware of how intimidating you yourself are."
She would have laughed at the preposterousness of such an idea if his voice were not so serious. "Not very, I imagine," she said with a grin.
"You are." He finally looked up, and his eyes were so piercing that her breath caught. "You are so bright against the darkness here, Andreth, and you do not even realize it."

Sooooo I may have written a thing, and this is a snippet from it.
There's just so little anything of these two, and I want more! I guess that's when you take things into your own hands when you definitely shouldn't use the time to do so.

Thank you! It didn't turn out quite how I was wanting, but it was good practice and I have been happy that others have enjoyed it. I've definitely had a bit of an Aegnor/Andreth kick lately haha

Ah, I'm glad you liked the fanfic! I wasn't sure how it would turn out, and it's such a small piece of the fandom that I worried about disappointing any people who were looking for the few fics of them that exist. Aegnor was pretty fun to write, so I'm happy that you feel I did him justice! I think Faramir/Eowyn will always be my favorite Tolkien pairing (kind of my first ship!), but I just find Aegnor and Andreth fascinating due to how little we know about their situation. Thingol and Melian are a fun one, too!

Aw... I love this couple so much even though they're not mentioned in LOTR or The Silmarillion! They're the only couple that features a male elf and a female human. Great job on the drawing as well!

I think that's the only reason I found out about them - we get all these examples of male human/female elf, and I wondered if there were any instances of the reverse. I'm really glad we get at least one example, although their story is so sad. Anyway, thank you! I'm really glad you like the drawing!

The saddest part is that Aegnor didn't get to tell Andreth about his love, isn't it?
Anyhow, I admire Andreth because she's not just pretty (I'm sure she must be beautiful to attract Aegnor), but she's also very wise.

Yes... I don't think allowed himself to. I really wish we knew more about the situation between the them and how things had progressed between them, but I guess we're just left to make up our own stories. 
I'm glad you like her fashion, too! I wanted to do something a little different from the usual medieval European look and tried to pull a little more from what I could find from Etruscan fashion. I'm glad that it seems to have a tie with the way people draw Numenorean fashion, too - I imagine there would be a connection there!
