This version of Birdy is from the mid-90's OVA series.
It seems like all the characters got a major makeover for the newer Birdy: Decode series...
... All except Gomez...
It's hard to improve on a bad-ass dude like him!

Pretty good pic of old school Birdy. Outside of the fact I think he might be slightly slimmer, you could pretty much swap out both versions of Gomez and not really notice a difference.XD Again, good job on the pic.

Yup! That's the old version Birdy for ya! Another big difference is that, in the old series, aliens on Earth were few and far between. In the new series, there is a huge alien population on Earth (hidden of course) for Birdy to interact with.

The old-style Birdy was done in a style that kinda looked like Rumiko Takahashi's work. Of course, a lot of the 80's and 90's characters had a similar style.
