IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT USE MY IMAGES OF MY TATTOO OR ANYTHING ON MY DA WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! It has come to my knowledge that images of my tattoo are being STOLEN to be put up on facebook pages. I will NOT tolerate this. If you wish to use any of my images- ASK PERMISSION FIRST! It's not difficult guys and girls!Don't make me put watermarks right across the tattoo okay?
Ariel is now complete! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!
Photo taken directly after it was finished at the tattoo shop, by my friend Vicky, which is why Ariel looks a tad sunburnt... (thats blood prickling/seeping through XP) and the water has pink tints to it... its my skin, not the ink haha!
But oh my god I could NOT be happier with this! Flounder is also the most adorable thing in the world! I shall take better photos of this finished piece and of Flounder when the redness has gone down and everything looks the way it should! ^_^
But I wanted to show y'all haha!!
UPDATE: THANK YOU ALL FOR THE FAVS! It's nice to see people love it as much as I do! (though.. i dont think thats possible... i cant put into words how much i love this haha!)

Aww I say go for it, but really research all the nearby tattooists to you. See which ones are more experienced or specialise in cartoon style work and color work, and you should have no problem. You can always go in for consultations. Also, the tattooist will never go ahead and tattoo you if you don't like the artwork when it first gets drawn up. You can still say no if you dont like it ^_^

Thank you very much! The Little Mermaid has always been my number 1 film, and with that I have my first memories of spending time with my gran when I was little ^_^ SO a lot of personal heart felt memories are now attached to this tattoo of mine ^_^

It just always strikes me weird when people put them in places you can't show everyone - like when women put tats on their boobs or right above their butt. Seems so wasteful. Sure, they enjoy it, but I always thought the reason to get a tat was to show it off.

I have a tattoo on my wrist thats always on show, but the biggest thing is work. A lot of work places nowadays wont hire you if you have visible tattoos, or large tattoos that cant be covered easily. As for me, I'm a princess for hire, so my costuming is also my work, so having the piece on my calf not only makes sense due to the piece itself, but also so it's easily covered when I'm doing princess parties. BUT it does mean when I'm normal me, I can show it off by wearing skirts and dresses and killer shoes haha! It will be on show a lot more than covered! ^_^
I will definitely strut it proudly!

Thank you! I know I will! A lot of personal memories (positive and negative- but both sides shaped me as the person I am today) are attached with this tattoo and film and character! I'll never stop being in awe of it I don't think! Haha!

Aaaaw, this is cool and it#s so cool that the tattoo itself came out so good. You picked a very talented tattoo artst! I am always so sorry when comic fans show their tattoos of Sailor Moon, Disney or Marvel charas.. And they simply look like shit or are bad made. :/ But yours is very very pretty. Haha you say that though, I would be able to... just have to wear footless ballet tights or something similar from now on, that's all. But I don't intend to wear my sail rags costume again anyway, and the big princess gowns all cover it. ^_^
