Thanks ... someone pointed out the wolfish smile on Mai in this other shot of mine , although in that shot of Mai I think her eyes are wistful so it doesn't seem such a smile.

Yay, you're right. Eyes can tell so much more! :] I've seen some photographs of Mai as well, they're nice. Just personal interest, did you get the chance to accompany the wolves during a members walk? Must be a cool experience!

I've had a walking membership for 3 years now . I've been on two walks with Duma and one with Mosi and Mai, and I've also given belly scratches to Duma and I think it was Mosi. Very enjoyable walks - great to see them up close. You can see they're relaxed and happy, with a mixture of behaviour that's dog-like and plenty of reminders that they aren't dogs too .

Some members, during the tummy-rubbing meet and greet, get a bit of a closer inspection - was lucky to capture this moment last year.

Ah, that sounds awesome! I've heard about similar walks here in germany, but I never had the chance to go there. Maybe sometimes. Wolves are such beautiful creatures, watching their behaviour is really fascinating - even from a long distance.
