Aperture priority mode with aperture of f/5.0, center-weighted average metering, exposure compensation -0.3 (resulting in a shutter speed of 1/500 in that light). I was using my Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens zoomed to 160mm. In post-processing I've made a few adjustments (I shoot in RAW) - white balance needed warming slightly, shadows needed ilfting slightly, and a bit of local contrast added.

The exposure compensation of -0.3 is my usual setting as shadows can be recoverable, blown highlights are not

nice funny thing is i dont use a DSLR though im working on getting one
