I'm still studying, I swear !This time, I tried playing with a different and more unusual colour palette ... I think it turned out nicely :3
I used a nice purple colour to give the picture a more playful feel (I even made the tip of the skull's nose slightly rosy for extra cuteness :3)
I sort of based the character from an older deviation (Necromancer). I liked that drawing - it's quite old, so it's not very good, so I wanted to revamp it :3
I ended up changing her completely, but the concept's still sort of there :3
Constructive critique much appreciated - I wish to improve :3

Thank you ! The skull looked pretty funky in my original sketch ...
I had lotsa fun colouring this :3 I might change it a little to make the colours more saturated

I don't have exammy things atm, i have end-of-term ones [meaning that I can't revise at all until I've actually had the course], so it's just lab reports & problem sets...

Oh wow your teaching terms are really long ! My teaching term ended on the 25th March, and since then, it's been exam revision. Weird ^^
Life is good, I've finished revising for my Experimental biochem exam, so I'm just drawing and watching Korean dramas ;D

Yeah we had massive easter holidays & a month off at christmas as well, so the terms are longer.

Try focusing in on the eyes. They are shaded nicely but work on the shape.

Yeah, I'm struggling a bit with style right now - I can't decide whether I want to have more anime-like eyes or more realistic eyes ... but thanks for the advice :3
