Description
I made these for my little 1:12 scale BJD, and wanted to show them off, having never made miniature shoes before. The soles are made very similar to real Birkenstocks, with fine European leather over a layer of cork, finished with a hard, patterned sole (polymer clay). The straps are indigo ultrasuede, and the materials cost me less than $1.

Though I sanded the parts as best as I could to make them thin, the shoes are still a little clunky, but I was determined to get all of the layers in there. The leather is soft and velvety, and if I was four inches tall, I would so wear these! Aria seemed to like them.
