A fan of Zelda and musical instruments, I have wanted to make a miniature ocarina for some time. After getting into silver clay, I found the perfect medium.

I made the ocarina similar to how they are made in real life, by shaping it around a form and removing and reattaching the halves. Lots of drilling, sanding, firing, and polishing later, I had this little sapphire-encrusted beauty. [link]

I may make more silver ocarinas in the future for the shop [link] but this one is staying with me .
