MAIN MISSION
-Find Malt, estimate damages alongside him
-Clean the village
-Assist the construction workers in the fixing and building of structures

Again, it's so much fun to write Darren's dialogue because unlike most of my characters, he really does live up to his "Calm" nature in that he never seems to snap, even after a vicious tongue-lashing like that. Oh, and it should be obvious by now, but whenever there are two panels in a row in which he appears to do nothing, he's actually calculating the situation through his processor-brain. If he still was who he was in his past life, of course, he'd react slightly more indignantly. Then again, Amy wouldn't be saying such mean things if she DID know...
I love how Darren just acts like their dad by taking matters into his own hands like that. Literally. I imagine a lot more of such manhandling will occur from now on in future missions, too.

If this Darren is unfazed by that kind of thing, how do you think he'd react to the behavior of a homicidal computer like GLaDOS?

He would probably counter all of GLaDOS' homocidal statements by pointing out all the logical fallacies in them. And of course, if she ever dispatched killer robots, he could always SHADOW SMASH his way through them.

Would he even HAVE to smash them? I mean, he's a ghostly walking suit of armour. Bullets probably wouldn't affect either version of Darren.

That is SO true! I like Darren more. Fi was always annoying to me, I mean, she didn't say 'Hey! Listen' (I actually liked Navi) but she just talked, and talked, and talked. I haven't played much of the game really (I can't really get into non-hand-held games), but she was really bland! Anyway, sorry about the small rant.

I decided to try out a couple of Fi's speech patterns, and it just makes Darren's that much more awesome.

You make me want to get back to doing this... but I would probably have to take a while to assess the current state of the PMD-E story, decide if I want to stick with my current team or start fresh, or even do both, but yeah, do all of that stuff. And maybe collab with a decent artist as well.

Depends. You can start by writing a few stories going into the miscellaneous adventures folder about what Varen, London, and Raina were doing during Event 4 and Mission 5. If you like them so much that it doesn't matter what score you get for the missions, then it's a good sign that you can get back into this. If not, just pretend that upon the destruction of Tao Village, they ran away and never came back. Like ~necrozuma 's Team DarkDrako and Team DarkLight.

Several of the guild leaders, including Shroomsworth and Mike, actually did run away. I don't know if Mike is coming back, but Shroomsworth definitely won't, so this whole "running away" thing is becoming more common than you'd think.

Oh, a whole freaking lot happened in both the Mission 5 epilogue and the Mission 6 prologues combined. If you plan on getting back in, you should check it out.
Of course, you could also wait until I start releasing pages again (as you'll see the results of what had transpired), but I'd highly recommend reading those comics anyway. It'll help a lot.
