Description
During any breaks at work, I jotted down Notes on my phone on good ideas for Merigonan forms, regional evos, and new evos to regular pokemon to do at any given time.
One of which was an evolution of Sawsbuck, a deer pokemon from Unova with a surprisingly diverse moveset. Lorewise, this evolved form were very rare and were supposedly commercially hunted to extinction a century or so prior to the events of Black and White.

-Use the King's Rock on Sawsbuck and it'll evolve into the diverse Foraegis!-
Foraegis (a portmanteau of Forest and Aegis) has four forms, and depending on which Sawsbuck form it was prior, it'll become said variant; essentially being a pseudo four-way split evo. The four forms have design quirks based on the behavoir and traits of deer during that season exaggerated to a mythological level.
- Summer is the balanced all-rounder form
- Autumn is the bulky defensive tank form
- Winter tears through flesh and barriers to soothe it's hunger, with it all going to both of it's offenses and a bit to speed
- and Spring is very speedy and can learn many good status moves for support
Winter Form Foraegis is much diffrerent than it's other bretheren, not only is it given the honor of a chieftain Pokemon (Merigo's version of Noble Pokemon ) of the Frostbeast's Incline dubbed as the "Lord of the Hunger", but it also isn't a centaur but a basic quadruped in design. They're also based on the ever popular Wendigo of Native American myth, a beast homogenous to a mixture of an icy zombie and a werewolf (or rather a weredeer).
The floating horns and hands are also based on seasonal deer behavior, as deer horns will fall off during the winter time, with some shedding velvet as a bonus to add in to it's grim basis and how some trees in early winter will still have their autumn leaves hanging on.
