Description

The South Kalos leak is an infamous fake leak that came out in early 2016 after Magearna was revealed and before Sun and Moon were revealed. In this series, I'll make each of these slots real one way or another - If one idea is already done in the modern games, I'll do my own creative take on it. Maybe I'll throw in some 'mons of my own that aren't in that fake leak to help add more to Kalos' faults.

As Stated prior in previous posts , There will be a fun side thing along the coast, a huge Abyssal Ruins called "Lost City" which has special ancient treasures to evolve a wide amount of Pokemon from across the world. Some needed this evolution, while others got it to show an example of what Lost City has!

Mawile and Sableye are always seen as weak pokemon back before Gen 6, easily out trumped by better Pokemon like Aggron and Spiritomb - being always weaker than the rest but making it up in spades with their personality. And without their Mega evolutions where are they now? Back to the start of their career - but now even worse due to power creep.

Sableye is a funny looking guy, he's a tiny goblin man based on the Hopskinville Goblin, as that creature is popular in Japan. However looking at his small details like his ear shape and elbow spikes i see something else - perhaps he's mixed with a bit of fishman biologically speaking. Seeing as they live entirely in caves, they might've evolved from a sort of cave fish to crawl on land to collect the 'stars' on the cave walls.

Jewelye (a portmanteau of Jewel and the -eye suffix of the line) is a small cave fish with a single jewel form a lens to see with like a pair of goggles. It's looks up towards the surface, always watching the cave it lives in covered in jewels reflecting off the water's edge, which caused it to eventually grow a sort of sluggish body to collect them - hence Sableye's Stall ability.
Jewelye is based on a mixture of cave fish with no present eyes and deep sea fish with very noticeable eyes like the Barreleye fish .

(H) Prankster

-Level up while holding the "Broken Trident" Treasure Item on a body of water at Night, and Sableye will evolve into Gobleye-

Gobleye (a portmanteau of Goblin and the -eye suffix of the line) becomes more fishman-like with it's shark tail head, as it wields a Trident dorsal fin to aid in combat. It can now swim way better since it's previous form had lost most of it's swimming abilities due to greed. It mostly went back because sunken treasure is a thing, but to also guard it since it can actually fight now rather than using it's tricks.

Gobleye is based on typical Goblins , the Goblin Shark , the fishman trope, and the Hobbit book's first interpretation of Gollum - as he was described to being closer to an anthro deep-sea fish that is shadowy in figure.

Ability: (1) Keen Eye
(2) Swift Swim
(H) Opportunist
Gender Ratio: 50%M/50%F
Egg Group: Human-like
Height Range: Human-sized
