Laura is the new entry of the Street Fighter V character roster!
She's the third Brazilian character in the game and she's also the older sister of Sean Matsuda, first introduced in Street Fighter III!
She's a Jiu-Jitsu master and she can produce static electric energy, just like Blanka!

Yes, that's true. The Brazilian govt. puts a HUGE tariff on consoles (and other consumer electronics and appliances) that aren't, in some manner or another, made or partially assembled in Brazil. From what I understand MS does some xbox work in Brazil for this purpose, avoiding this insanely high tax. Sony, to my knowledge, doesn't. Thus, already expensive consumer electronics become absolutely, INSANELY overpriced because of it.
I knew a few people from Brazil at university (with more money than god), and they said it was common practice for Brazilians who traveled (to places like the US), to bring or buy a couple extra large suitcases, that they would then fill with electronics and appliances they bought here, at a fraction of a fraction of the insane prices back in Brazil, and then fly home with them.
Long story short: Brazilian government is bent, that makes some shit super expensive there.Β

That's pretty unfortunate. Consumer electronics shouldn't be categorized as luxury items. Most of them are necessary daily need for modern human (like computer/laptop, smartphone, etc).
