The first few pages of my story are completed, but I want to get another couple under my belt before posting them up for everyone. This has been a really great learning experience, and I constantly delete/trash drawings in order to create a better product.I drew up the cover just the other day and it portrays the story that I am drawing so far of a mysterious, dark hero striking from the shadows.

Makes for a steller front page man, looks great. Not too fond of the gradient background, and the wall seems abit flat with the one shadow straight across rather than thinking of the shadows left by the bricks and textures of them. But graphically as an image it looks great.

No, the website lets you upload your comic and you can choose the template as well for free. The site is based around webcomics. Check it out if you get time.

What are you using for the word bubbles? Is there any added benifit of doing a web comic vs. an actual published one?

I just photoshop my word bubbles.
The only thing I can think of for a difference between the two is that a webcomic is free to do, and the other would cost money to publish.

Do you think that a web comic gets more exposure because it's accessable to more people? Do you retain all your rights on the properties?

You hit as big of a crowd as you advertise for, and if it gains popularity on a website the possibilities are endless. I believe you do retain the rights. If someone went out and copied your work you would have physical proof that your creation was on the internet at this time and date, etc.
