Description

After all that waiting, the 2nd episode is finally here!

Setting:

Morrison Formation (Dinosaur National Monument) - Utah - Late Jurassic 150 million years ago

Bestiary:

(top to bottom, left to right)

Camarasaurus lentus: The protagonist of this episode, this 15 meter long sauropod is a migratory animal, traveling across the Morrison with the change in the seasons. They roam the fern prairies in large herds, browsing on the rich araucarias that decorate the landscape. When attacked by hordes of Allosaurus, adults form defensive circles around the young, swinging their necks to deter the predators. Colors based on Lesser Antilean Iguana

Allosaurus jimmadensi: The mighty lion of the Jurassic, this 9 meter theropod is the top predator of the region. While males are known to congregate and hunt together, females are solitary and much larger than the males. Gangs of males are known to follow the herds of Camarasaurus on their migrations, picking off the young, sick and old individuals. Females are known to be very aggressive, and will attack and even kill males who get too close to their young.

Kepodactylus insperatus: The first Pterosaur of the series, and a small insectivorous predator. they are usually found around watering holes, and on the backs of large dinosaurs. Colors based on Oxpeckers

Barosaurus lentus: This massive 27 meter sauropod is the titan of the Morrison. Adults have virtually no natural predators, and meander through the landscape unharmed. One whack from their spiny tail can easily impale an Allosaurus. Colors based on Humpback Whale.

Dryosaurus elderae: These small, nimble ornithopods are found on the plains in medium to large flocks, and are capable of outrunning most predators in the region. They are mostly found feeding beside the larger Stegosaurus for protection, and in return serve as an early warning system for the large herbivore. Colors based on Emu.

Stegosaurus ungulatus: This hulking 9 meter armored herbivore is the tank of the Morrison, herd sizes usually consist of 4-6 individuals, a mixture of females and males. The main predator to adults is Allosaurus, which is where their tail spikes or "thagomizers" come in for defense. One swing is enough to mortally wound an Allosaurus.

I disagree with some of this status updates. One cause these two animals are too damn similar. Two it could just be a Bigger Allosaurus how like A Barbary Lion is bigger then a african lion. Three many people including paleontologists say that Saurophaganax is most likely a Allosaurus.

That's what I think but that's my opinion

From what I heard it was smaller then fragilis mass wise. It was a bit skinny compared to the hulk like Fragilis.

Height wise I'm not sure

Why did you use the Morrison formation instead of the Shishugou formation?

Do you honestly not get that people do different versions involving different formations? Stop telling people what formation to use. It’s getting obnoxious.

Well you not did include Fruitafossor and Hesperornithoides to the cast so it left me confused why you bothered using the morrison formation
