REMINDING ME that you are literally the reason I made a folder for Anthro/Furry art in my favourites.

Wow, this is incredible. Fantastic interpretation of light and dark. There's so much emotion here, what a wonderful effect!

Wow! This is REALLY unique. Much better than a character drawing on a white background. This has substance. Glad to see this.

Ah, I like this quite a bit. It's a scene I can strongly relate to and picture myself in his place.
The art is also very impressive ^^ Faved

And look at the damage... The fortunes came for the richer men
While we're left with gallows, just waiting for them liars to come down and hang
And when it was over, I woke up alone
Epic song, epic band, epic Pic. Gaslight anthem is great, but I think their best song on American slang was The Spirit Of Jazz
Was I good to you, the wife of my youth, not another should can love you like my rotten bones do, so I will wait on the ashes in between these new York streets, where you and I would meet

If you don't mind my asking, how much of this is lineart, and how much is using suggestions of lineart, and mostly drawing through the color/

I don't think I could really quantify all the aspects of the image, but I can give a quick rundown as to what I did.
I started out by roughly sketching Lux- nothing too cleaned up, but just a general idea of what I wanted. I then put down a base color, just a touch darker than what I used for the lines, and then merged the two layers together. at this stage, any coloring/shading I would do would apply to both the lines and the base layer. and the illuminated outline was added later to add emphasis to the backlighting.
I hooope that answers your questions at least a little? D=

That answers it perfectly actually! Thanks for taking the time to explain. Your works are always beautiful, and I'm a fan of your sunsets, so I was somewhat curious as to the methods you use. Like I said, thanks for explaining, I appreciate it.
