A pair of sailplanes soaring in the mountains. Some fond memories from my flying days many years ago. Modeled and Rendered in Blender 2.74 at 6000 cycles.Related content

The planes are very nice! But it seems that the resolution of the background image is too low. Try resizing it at least 4x with Lanczos (sinc) method...

Thanks for the advice. I am unfamiliar with the Lanczos method, so I'll have to look it up.
I must say that I simply used a 2K HDR image with a fairly high level of DOF/F-stop setting.
I'll have to be a little more easy on that sort of thing in future, thanks again though.

Or use cubic interpolation in Blender. It is the third combo box in "Environment Texture".
