In an alternate universe where Marvel Studios owned the film rights to all of their characters, we would no doubt get a Fantastic Four film leading into the Avengers 2. Don't get me wrong I think Guardians of the Galaxy will be good, but realistically Fan 4 would have probably been Marvel's first choice.

I decided to go with a more modern looking Fan 4. "Taking a cue from their new persona as the Future Foundation." It would be a good way to differentiate it from Fox's take on the team.

In this version of the Fan 4, the team gain their powers while on a privately funded mission to the moon. But this wouldn't be about the origin, so much as showing where and how this team fits into the world and the Marvel universe as a whole. In the Marvel fimverse, there is no doubt that Avengers are the premiere team, so where does the Fan 4 fit in?

The team was on the moon setting up a small station during the Chitauri fleet invasion. They witnessed the attack on earth from the moon; with communications down, they could only speculate as to what was going on. The attack passes and the team continued on with their mission, which was soon interrupted by the appearance of mysterious beings, calling themselves the Inhumans. These powerful beings reside on the moon in secret, but with the resent attack on earth, they have come to the Fan 4 with questions.

From there, the team is brought to the Inhuman's home of Attilan. And through a series of events the team is exposed to the Terrigen Mist, giving them their powers. They quickly become entangled in a war between the Inhumans and the Kree. The Kree have come in response to the Chitauri invasion. A movie about political intrigue and suspense as much as superhero action, Fantastic Four would make a great movie...
