Good afternoon, fellow Deviants. I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. Here's more celebratory Pokemon fanart.

"Heart and Soul" depicts me wearing a Gold/Silver/Crystal-themed T-shirt as I command a team of my favorite Johto Pokemon: Typhlosion, Crobat, (Mega) Ampharos, Azumarill, and Umbreon. I also have a Skarmory in reserves.

Johto's been my favorite region ever since I first became a Pokemon fan (which is at least partly because we were still in Generation II here in the US at the time), and the original Gold, Silver, and Crystal remain my favorite Pokemon games (as well as my favorite video games overall). To say I was excited when HeartGold and SoulSilver were first announced and later released is a massive understatement. I should've done something like this last year or the year before to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Gold and Silver and the tenth anniversary of HeartGold and SoulSilver, but better late than never.
