isten, you can be a Catholic AND a Christian at the same time , Catholicism is just another branch of Christianity, like the Nazarenes, or Lutherans, or Baptists! AND ALSO God created you to be you, he doesn't want you to change who you are (the homosexual thing) THAT'S JUST WRONG! And God created sex for after marriage only! God created sex so that a man and woman could "become one." NOT to just have fun, and also I thank Violeta123321 for her GREAT input AND ALSO YOU CAN BE CATHOLIC AND CHRISTIAN AT THE SAME TIME

I've been thinking of that for a few months now too
Most/nearly everything fits to me...
I am still not sure about my religion though...
I take communion in a catholic church too... and it feels... somehow false because I do believe in Jesus and god but there are catholic laws I just don't agree with

Mm yeah.
I would always say "We don't do it towards your atheist belief, so show your maturity and be respectful" but it's a shame with turbo-religious doing the exact same thing.

I think... that if you were baptized and can take communion in a Catholic Church, then technically you're Catholic, just not a practicing one?
Either way, I understand what you're talking about, and it's good you feel comfortable saying what you feel about yourself.
I am Catholic, and some of the practices I find hard to agree with - For example, I'm struggling to not be bisexual anymore, even though I have (well, about to be 'had') a wonderful girlfriend that I was planning on spending my life with... I can't, though, because it's against my faith. Anyhow, that issue doesn't really have anything to do with your stamp...
You did a good job, it's very pretty. I'm sure there are others who share this sentiment and can use the stamp.

Same here, im christian, and if I read right your family is catholic? If so just continue being christian, you are who you are.
I do believe in sex when your ready, not after your married, I do support gay rights, and I don't see how cursing is that bad, its just a few words, everyone curses at some point, by asking your parents what it means when your little to cursing when mad or just because you feel like it. I really dispise all those people who hate on christians. We don't hate on their religon.
Some christian stuff sickens me like those crazy christians who preform exorsims on poor kids because they're gay or they don't believe in God.
I would choose Christian over Catholic any day, it seems better to me, without all those laws that are strict, and believing in Faith and how God loves us and never will love us more or less than anyone else and will forgive our sins no matter what.

I'm Catholic in a Protestant community and family. I find it funny that when my brother told his teacher that his sister was Catholic she had no idea what I worshiped. (hello, I worship Jesus) XD
BTW-in Catholicism as I know it you don't go to hell for cursing. And don't think because of the Inquisition all Catholics are evil...remember who brought upon the Salem Witch trials...

Most people consider Catholics a branch of Christianity, but really, it is the first Christian Church, and the only true one. The practices vary GREATLY from those of other 'Christian' denominations - I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have regarding Catholicism, as I am studying to be an apologist.
Truth is, the Church does not recognize most denominations as being actually Christian, but many Christians don't recognize Catholics as being Christian... there are a very few that the Catholic Church recognizes as Christian though they don't belong to the one true Church.
Major differences are the number of Sacraments that Catholics receive in comparison to other religions... Also that we confess to priests, that we recite the exact words to prayers over and over rather than speaking from the heart (though we do this as well at proper times), that we have certain obligations that other religions don't have - For example, I had two Holy Days of Obligation this weekend and so had to attend two masses instead of one, because they were solemnities.
I feel so blessed to be a member of the Catholic Church, though there are more 'rules' than most people would like to follow, especially because of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To be able to speak openly with my Priest and confess my sins, and receive absolution after I do my penance is SUCH a burden that is lifted from me, and even though it can be embarrassing admitting some of the things I've done, it is such a relief afterwards to receive his advice.
Anyhow, sorry for the long comment, but yeah, if you have questions, I'd be glad to answer them. ^^

Actually Catholic isn't the first branch of Christianity.
Theres more evidence to say baptist is.
but that's irrelevant.
Same here, in away. A lot of my family is mormom... PFfft
no way. They're crazy as all hell.
I do disagree with you on the gay marriage part though.
Bible is pretty firm on that one.
but I digress.
Christianity shouldn't have different denominations.
God works with everyone differently people just don't
seem to understand it =\

Catholicism was the first official Church, as Peter was the first head Bishop - ``Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona . . . Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.'' (Matt. 16:17-19). `` (Which means that Christ created Catholicism while he was still alive as his official Church - there are other things that show this, but I'm not gonna waste a bunch of pages going over that since I know everyone has Google if they're online XD )
Lol, I got suckered into mormonism for a while. o_O I was kinda shocked at how strange it was but I returned to the Catholic Church after time. And yea... I wish that the Bible wasn't so solid on gays and gay marriage, but it is, so there's nothing I can do about that except struggle not to be bisexual. =/

Awesome job here! See, I'm Agnostic, I believe in SOME kind of God, but I accept a wide view on things. And I really don't at all believe in things in the Bible, (and I've gotten into countless religious debates with people) but I support everyone's beliefs. And I LOVE yaoi/yuri (the anime term for a gay or lesbian couple), and some of my closest friends are gay or bi! And trust me, I could go into an entire lecture right now, but I'm not going to. Because "I don't believe that love or marriage should only be between a man and a woman, and I don't believe you're damned if you're a homosexual. God loves all his children, and he wouldn't cast you to hell if you happen to love someone of the opposite sex. Nothing makes him happier when two people - any two people, come together in love..." absolutely stole the words right out of my mouth! And of course this isn't the only open view I highly agree with, but it's to name one.
I apologize if this comment is too long, but I really wanted to say how much I support your views, because I meet so few people who I can share intelligent debates with in things like this. XD I also hate when overly religious nuts try and shove their religion down my throat. Because in all honesty, I don't really give a damn if you're Christian and don't like what I think.

Oh, I love long comments; it makes me feel real special. ^^ I don't find much non religious nuts I can have intelligent and civil debates as well. Nice to see someone with such a powerful will

Lol, I consider myself a very devout Catholic, but my big weakness is yaoi. I'm so addicted to yaoi, and I write it and draw it... I confess for it, though, but I have (I guess it's limited dispensation) permission to work on yaoi until May due to it being for my job and selling doujinshis at conventions, but then I'm supposed to start working more on my Catholic mangas and stuff. I wish there was a group for Catholics who like yaoi. XD

I...have no idea where I stand here. Growing up, I believed myself to be Christian, absolutely, and that my family's branch was Roman Catholic. I extremely rarely go to church, and it appalls me to see "Christian extemists" (as I guess they're called) act out the way you said in the artist's comments...because you are spot on. There are people that act like that, and it makes me want to puke. I love everyone, every being holy and mortal, but I always thought I could call myself a Catholic...

Well, my mom is in complete support of waiting to have sex before marriage, while my dad would agree with you. I'm a mixture of agreeing with you and just thinking that you should be at least twenty before you start having sex.
I agree 100% with you on homosexuality.
And I don't think cursing is THAT bad. If that was true, than I think everyone in my middle and high school but me would be going down XD .
Oh, and the "But me" is because while I don't mind others cursing, I personally prefer not to... Ever.
