[link] Seems people are still bitching about the 8bit graphics, though...Arg, it's getting old. Right now I couldn't be happier about Capcom's MM9, even if it means having to make some adjustments to my own MM9 (which isn't a single story, unlike the other MM9...head hurt yet?).
I just hope Splashy is predominately blue, and not something like coral pink. ><

Poor Splashy. She's going to be slashed with everyone in the Classic Megaman world, INCLUDING Roll. I mean, there's probably some Yuri fans that have been waiting for years to jump on the classic series... Anyway, nice picture. Turns out you were close to her actual color. Yay, for lack of pink!!! If you do manage to fit this into your Megaman series (maybe as a spinoff or just before your series starts, making your series Megaman 10), would you make Splashy have a big sister relationship with Rock? I mean, technically, they are siblings. (Both are made by Dr. Light.) Actually, that means that Rock has 8 more siblings to deal with including the first Gender-confused Light-bot. (You know who I mean.) Of course, that's not including the number-less Timeman and Oilman...

I've been worrying about this ever since the announcement came out for this game. After a few weeks of the game being out, I'll be afraid to go into FF.Net. Probably a FLOOD of Random Robot MasterXSplash Woman or even MEGA MAN/PROTO MAN/BASSXSplash Woman. Fandom will probably make her bang every Robot Master in existance.
Hooboy, Capcom, way to go.
I HATE how they just decided to throw in a female Robot Master now. Just HATE. Although I DO like the idea of a mermaid...

My only complaint is that she looks a little like a female X with the blue colors. Otherwise, however, not bad.
But does your Mega Man 9 story really need that much revision? What needs to be changed besides the title?

I haven't either, though the only time I would have been interested was when I was burdened with over-aggressive parental controls. Once those went away (they were screwing with my computer, believe it or not), I decided my brain was worth more than that site.

Oh god, consider yourself lucky you don't go to adultff.net... it's a pit of voles that's even worse than the normal ff.net. In fact, I recently had the misfortune to skim through an apparent Gutsman/Cutman rape fic, I'm guessing (note that I say the word "skim" since I wanted to avoid a potential mental rape and I exited out before it got too in depth, but I'm pretty sure there was a rape scene in the end.) There's almost nothing but hardcore yaoi fics there, with the occasional hetero lemon that I don't touch with a ten foot ski pole. The only reason I go there in the first place is for potential Robot Master fics, though I don't know why I bother because there's a good chance they're going to be a Peacekeeper-esque quality...
... but yeah, save yourself the mind rape and don't go there. But then again, I'm sure you've probably been mentally raped more times than you care to acknowledge, so perhaps you'll be immune. But do you really want to take that risk?

Your description of that site is even more incentive to stay away. Me, I would be curious about stories written back in the 90s or even 80s, just to see what misonceptions or attitudes about Megaman were held during those times. Not in sex. Problem is, I'd have the same trouble finding a DECENT fic like that as I would on FF.net.

I always found it very bold that Capcom just now decided to make a female Robot Master. Personally, a female robot in a fortress full of male robots disturbs me. Of course, your Splashwoman wouldn't have this problem since everyone's neutered, but in my world... hoo boy, I can already see the rape fics forming. And I can imagine Hardman to be one of them doing it. I don't know why.
For some reason, I picture Splashwoman as yellow. I guess she reminds me of Sparkchan from the Mechanical Maniacs, and I usually associate her with the color yellow 'cause Sparkman is yellow... ish. Orange-yellow, but whatever.
