Yep more Stargate Atlantis fan-work. I pulled out an old photo I did and turn my self into a wraith queen. (for the orignal--> [link] )I found the weird slit on the face to be the most difficult to get right. I spent at least 2hrs fighting with it, but now I have the hang of it.
The first person to figure out what female musician's eyebrows I kidnapped and alter gets something special. (haven't figured out what but.. oh and Salt28 and Pigpen1970 can't guess cause you know who she is. Especially Salt28 cause we where talking about this last weekend.)
I am proably going to use this tattoo for my wraith cosplay costume when every I get to making the prosthetic.

strangely, i think it won't be. don't know why, just do. i think the problem for me is lots of the pics i have of wraith are very dark and it makes it hard to see them in detail.

Yeah, me to. I accumulated a lot of photos of wraiths for reference images. I going to make a website just on costuming for wraith, there is hardly anything out there. I going to post most of the reference images. My favorites are always the behind the scene ones, cause you get to see details you normally miss. Sweet! Thanks for the link! I haven't been doing anything wraith for a bit so much of my collected reference material is gone. (I got divorced and much of life went to the wayside). So I am rebuilding my collection. It's time for the wraith to be back in my life. You are a busy lady. Magazines, web sites. I feel positively lazy. ha ha.

That sucks about loosing your collection. If you want me to I could upload what I have on to a sever I use and you could download it. I don't know how big the file has gotten cause I am at work right now (yeah for deviant mobile) But I could check this evening.

i usually am so busy but its mostly work, friends and family. leaves me for little time for things like art, wraith, writing, etc. it stinks!
yeah...well I really had to get rid of things and moving seemed so overwhelming at the time. i am very touched by your offer to share your collection of wriathy images. i just don't know what to say. i usually don't like to create work for other people. i know i am silly. ha ha!!

I wouldn't be much work just compressing the files in a zip and uploading. You could go through it and delete what you don't want. If I reember I will upload it after class tonight and note you the link.

Work is always over at 5pm. But I can message on my phone to devaint art now, so I can repond to messages all day long. (Just not notes for some reason) I have ddone it so much now if I type a w, wraith automatically comes up.

Good job. You figured out where I got them. *gives cookie* I figured since Todd tattoo reminds people of Ace from Kiss I would use Amanda Palmer's make-up. Funny fact in the makeup trailer on Atlantis they call Todd Ace. Chris H. Talked about in a interview he gave.

I will be making a whole website on how to build wraith costumes. In searching the whole web for information to build mine with I have come up almost empty handed. I found tons of info for stargate command/Atlantis uniforms but squat for the wraith. :grrr:
So I going to have a ton of how to dos. I just photographed one on gauntlets for queens.
There will be lots of photos for the prosthetic processes.
I may also include info on some of the other costuming work I am doing: Discworld and Hellsing.
