Description
This was a commission that was for Aardvark Tees, if you have been to a Con, odds are you own one of their shirts. It was done 90% traditional (only the color is digital). I've never done much fantasy art and spending 3 years in MN, Lovecraft is huge there. The hard part of this was trying to give it a comic feel and depth while remembering that the final would only be in 4 colors. I had a lot of fun going outside of my comfort zone on this and I am considering going back into it to add some wicked textures and maybe a full color treatment. I will post the in progress image sequence soon.

and yes I am aware he looks a lot like Davy Jones... sigh... lol
