Hey I can put up stamps I made but don't agree with completely. Because there are opinions other than mine.I think the only part of this I agree with is the usage of the word "yaoi." I personally think it should apply to anime or anime-style games (Your JRPGs for instance) only, but that's just me. So here's how it lays out to me.
Kingdom Hearts yaoi: Yes.
Naruto yaoi: Yes.
Supernatural yaoi: No. (THIS SHOULDN'T EXIST ANYWAY. THEY'RE BROTHERS FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.)

but I disagree a bit with your explanation in your description.
Yaoi is manga erotica from female authors for female target audience.
With feminized men, oldfashioned hetero-stereotypical relationship
(practically the woman and the man relationship from 50 years ago with two dicks)
with no intend to involve gay life at all.
If it's a gay manga author or for gay male target audience
it's not "yaoi". Unless they specifically mimic that style,
it's just gay comics too.

Oooh, man that always drives me up a tree. Actually if you're doing a pairing it would just be "slash" so Kingdom Hearts slash would be SoraXRiku or RoxasXThekitchensink, it's only yaoi if the genre is yaoi, so Romantica, thats a "yaoi" Loveless... thats also technically a yaoi.

I'm a fan of Yaoi. But I do agree the word "Yaoi" fits best with anime. With real life stuff or other things. Then it does sound a bit silly.

I agree, although I read an article that says that yaoi used to be considered separate from a homosexual lifestyle -because of how over the top unrealistic it is- and that even yaoi has subcategories like shounen-ai (no sex) , and 'bara' (drawn by real homosexual men and looks nothing like the stuff the genre is permeated with).
I could give you a link if I can find it again, it's quite interesting.

Nice! Zetsuai is considered a yaoi classic, but everytime I try to read it... I start to feel a bit bored. Maybe it's just me though, as much of a fan of yaoi I am I'm not a big fan of the ones that make the guys look like sticks. It only works when it's by CLAMP.

no it refers to non-straight and Yuri converts into Fem/slash and people use a / in most pairings so some times it is confusing
