What the hell is with these dumbass furries pushing for "ACCEPTANCE FOR FURRIES" and "TOLERANCE FOR FURRIES" like it's some massive social movement against horrible injustices society has been inflicting on them for decades?It's a goofy subculture about anthro animals (and sometimes anthro animal boinking,) not some civil rights movement. There's no furry Jim Crowe laws, furries don't have to sit at the back of the bus, furries aren't locked up in internment camps, and furries don't get held up at the airport, there's nothing to fight against other than assholes on the internet.
And because I will probably need to say this eventually; yes I'm a furry. Yes, I understand why people would go "hey bro don't automatically assume I like to fuck dogs, uncool." But I still don't think it's necessary to go on a huge crusade to "EDUCATE THE MUNDANES ONCE AND FUR ALL!!1!11!"

As a furry myself I agree fully- but I do think some of the bullying towards furries needs to be addressed... I mean, the fandom is so damn harmless- art, character design, costuming, dance, literature, etc. just like any other fandom really, only difference being is it doesn't have any real base media. And the porn is no different- you may find it strange but at the end of the day it harms no one, you're a pretty weak bastard if a drawing of some make-believe anthro characters having sex upsets you, and before anyone complains about 'the children' refer to rule 34- if it exists, theres porn of it, every child is going to come across some eventually, and they are going to see a lot worse than yiff- guaranteed. Point is the hatred and harassment some furries get is just ridiculous- and I'm not just talking about morons on the internet. There have actually been a few cases of people being physically assaulted for being furries, and people looking to crash furry conventions. Its so petty and stupid I cant even... people can say what they want about furries, but people who actively attack them are worse than even the dumbest furry.
