a color doodle (I was talking by the phone with my ex-boss )... well, I done this to check some colors in chara 4 a project...now is my msn Avatar
just doing a test.

I gonna explain some stuff about color. Some people ask me in notes about how to do textures and gain definition on their ilutrations. I usually work in a big size canvas, this pic was done to be "viewed" in arround 150 pixels, so you can see how "brushed" looks in the original size, and how better look in a small size.

is a trick you can use when you paint in the same way, some odd strokes in distance could look like a texture . Always have in mind in how big was be printed, in that way you can work in a bigger canvas and latter, you shrink it to the "real" size... did you get it?

In the other hand, you can economize strokes, I only paint the "light area" , the dark area is... only dark
