Taken at Christopher Creek back in April just a couple weeks before the forest fires hit up there. Not sure if this area was damaged or not by the fires.* Hubby just informed me that this area was untouched by the fires...he did hear though that it came within a half a mile from this spot.

This is an amazingly beautiful shot. Everything looks so lush and wonderful here. I think this'll be a place I'll have to visit one of these days when we're back toward Arizona.

Love the rich, dark colors from the overcast... my favorite time to photograph. Plus the blur of the water at the "falls."
