No, I am no warrior'
Not a lion with a heart of steel,
No,I am not a champion,
That nations before me kneel.
I am but a simple soul, a child,
now before you all.
I am but a wandering spirit,
waiting for my Father's final call.
A life that should be rich and sweet'
now sours in my soul.
Now,I shake and shiver,blasted by the dark eternal cold.
Even though the sun is bright, and God's creatures joyously sing.
The pangs of nameless shadows,rage, and sorrow,unending stings.
Why has this come to pass?Of this I do not know.
I pray,I pray,this too shall pass,
and this poor sinner will someday feel
Heaven's loving glow.
