Oh, yes, is to take as a compliment. Norman was amazing, his art had such delicate and so powerful touch.
In special, that "Four righjts" arts are among the most eloquent speech for freedom ever made, at the same of Charles ChaplinΒ΄s final speech in "The great dictator"

By the way, I'm a BIG Chaplin fan (3Stooges too) and the Great Dictator is one of my major faves of his.
The end speech the Jewish barber speaks is one of the best moments in film history to me.
To this day I can't listen to it without bursting into tears.

AHA! The old Marcel Duchamp painting and / or quote!
I got to confess a lot of the Dadaist art always amused me.
But sadly the Movement was short lived. (too many folks being serious about silliness ) but it did inspire a lot of cartoonists (Wally Wood, Bob Clampet ) perhaps even Monty Python's Terry Gilliam, maybe even t.v. comic Ernie Kovacs as well.
I know a LOT of punk rock/ new wave graphics in the 70s,80, and early 90s were influence by the art movement.
