Mr. Gold reading toddler!Henry Mills a story (probably The Beauty and the Beast)....I thought it was cute and really, Mr. Gold and Henry should get to interact more.

My best guess? Rum has some future sight, its likely he doesn't deal for babies until he knows when he can give them to their new mothers. Its likely he keeps babies between a week to a month, but never more and never less then that.

Right. Long enough so that he can have some company, but not so long that he starts to grow too attatched to them and distracted from Bae.

He probably never names them, but finds giving up the little boys a lot harder then the girls, and that's why the boys stay with him the least amount of time possible.

I think it's always neat that Gold likes Henry and Henry's not scared of him (even though everyone else in town is) I think that's why Henry's never been able to figure out who Gold is cause he doesn't see him as a bad guy...love the drawing so cute :3
