Greg and Mietek were out for a bit of a boat ride on the lake, when Greg's cane fell out of the boat and into the water. He reached over to grab it and by accident fell halfway in! There he met a very strange creature...Remember this? I didn't touch it for months. XD And then I saw it yesterday, and I was like "fff, I'm not working on my birthday, let's do something I want to do," and here it is.
Not completely successful. A mix of impatience that I quickly regretted, a naive choice in materials (I had actually thought that the watercolors MIGHT WORK OKAY on cardstock... it was okay...for a short while. Seeing as how I have around 3 pads of watercolor paper, I am starting to wonder why I made that choice), and bad lighting, it didn't QUITE get where I wanted it to go, but for a "I haven't watercolored in years" piece, it's pretty good.
It also looks a whole lot better in real life -_- The scanner wouldn't accept it correctly thanks to that whole "Blue, what's that?" silliness, so I had to photograph it. Which wasn't that successful either XDDD BUT OH WELL.
So here they are. Two middleaged men and a toad in a bikini.

Hah I love this, as I've said. The colouring is so delicate and .. watercoloury and it has a very book-illustration sort of feel to it. Lovely! As lovely as a picture of two middle aged men and a toad in a bikini can be.
