My mum's late birthday present, 100% traditional, done with polychromos coloured pencils.The foots a bit off, but I couldn't erase it more than a few times.

I love the pencil softness of lines in this artwork. It's so reminiscent of an illustration from a fairytale book. It's lovely.

It was actually inspired by a children's book called Treasury of Poetry by Hilda Boswell, my mum's had it since she was a child and the illustrations are so lovely and unique, I usually try and do pictures for my mum in a similar style. Glad you like it!

I really do, and I am a sucker for art with this type of vibe. It makes go through the fairytale books from my childhood (yes I still have them, they are awesome) and reminisce.
