Awesome drawing. The monochrome was a good idea.
The monster reminds me of Noface from Spirited Away...a more more morbid version though.

Pretty cool. What does your teacher(s) think when you draw creepy stuff like this for your class(es)?

I'm not sure what they really say/think but some of the the doodles and stuff i've done on the paper they wrap on the tables a couple of the teachers like. I think one of them thinks i'm bonkos though. Have yet to get feedback on this assignment.

I can see why some might think you're disturbed. But really that kind of shit is in all of use. Its just that guys like you and me will acknowledge it. I'd draw creepy messed up shit to, but I utterly fail at 2D art. [link] this is the closest I've gotten to expressing any of that stuff, and its a severely tamed down version of the original concept.

Love it though! Even though you haven't built on paper skills to carry out your visions atleast you use your creativity with the tools you have available to you effectively.

Thanks Corey. That means a lot to me coming from you.

Update: that thing I linked you did get a second more serious version. This is more like the original idea I had. Its still not good. Its the idea "on paper" so to speak, but it needs a lot of refining, so I've since dismantled it and want to come back at it when I can more effectively replicate a leafless dead tree out of lego. It can be done. I know cause I've seen some convincing examples. I just need to scale them up. Keep doing what you do, you're an inspiration to me. I see the creepy shit you make and want to go back and pull my own scary ideas out of my head.

That's awesome that you can do that with legos! Disturbed imagines through innocent building blocks.
Always a nice feeling pulling scary images out of your head so they don't muck up in there. Happy to be an inspiration.

Geat idea. Or just drawing dreams, huh ?

A little bit of both. Working up to getting skilled enough to draw the dreams.
