Description This began as a practice in making a more painted looking digital painting, with brush strokes and impasto, but when I got to a certain point, I abandoned the style altogether and fell back on my usual painting methods.

Well, what little you did to make it look painterly added a lot of interest to the pic, so nice going! I do think the bottom right corner needs a little texture though. Love the dreamlike colors in the lantern!
