A new Tales game is already in the works. This is their new main character who's named Velvet. I thought it was kind of an odd choice of name for a dangerous looking warrior character. Honestly the first thing that comes to mind when I read that is Red Velvet cake. XDSo I drew her eating red velvet cake.
Side note: in the process of drawing her I really began to wonder how someone ends up with an outfit like this. Apart from the shorts, it doesn't seem like any individual piece of clothing would really serve as clothing alone. Only when all together does it actually seem to form a complete costume. It's just hard to imagine someone selecting each item individually to compile into a costume.

Yeah, how does someone like this get dressed in the morning? No wonder RPG characters practically never change clothes. XD And in her case it seems like she decided 'hmm, anything as long as I don't have to put on anything resembling and actual shirt. Perhaps as a pirate, she simply steals and wears anything that she likes the look of.

The pose you have been magnificent, seriously, a piece of work quite well made and well designed, the idea of a red velvet cake never is I would have happened... and theories that could be the daughter are correct if... until you see the end of Xillia 2 and then that theory there, but come on, Namco can check out any silly handΒ Β

The first thing that came to mind for me is Velvet like the fabric (which is weird because I love food.) But it's probably because I'm a large Persona nerd. Through velvet room is blue which makes it even more weird because she's red.. xD
But she looks so freaking cool >B) I alway had a thing with pirates. And she reminds me of a punked out Milla. She has instant love from me! QuQ I already feel like Crossing over one of my favorite Ancestors from Homestuck because she's a pretty bad ass pirate lady too ouo

I don't think I've played many games involving pirates. In any case it'll most likely be an interesting angle for a Tales character. Yeah, she looks very tough, which I like.

It would be interesting! I hope we can have Boat battles similar to the ones in assassin's creed's black flag! Those are way fun. Or even boat battles in general. And there aren't too many pirate themed games out there, huh? That'd sad! Pirates are awesome with so much history to them. Like, they had a lady pirate Named Anne Bonny. :3cc there are much more cool pirates too. People should take advantage of it!Β
